A Paducah man was taken into custody Wednesday after a traffic stop led to the discovery of a significant quantity of illegal narcotics.
The Paducah Police Department Drug Unit saw a vehicle driving erratically near North 25th Street. While attempting to stop the vehicle, detectives saw the driver, later identified as 28-year-old Devin S. Holmes, throw a backpack out of the vehicle.
After stopping the car, detectives retrieved the discarded backpack and found 8.4 ounces of marijuana, 13.8 grams of cocaine, 26 grams of methamphetamine, 4.6 grams of ecstasy, 7.05 ounces of mushrooms, THC wax, vape cartridges, digital scales, a single LSD stamp, and $3,454 in cash.
