Paducah man arrested on drug trafficking charges

A traffic stop on Wednesday led to the arrest of a Paducah man on drug charges.

Deputies stopped the vehicle at the intersection of Metropolis Lake Road and Woodville Road, where the driver, 47-year-old Deron Wooley, was reportedly found to be in possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, and cash believed to be the proceeds of illegal drug sales.

Wooley was arrested and charged with trafficking in methamphetamine and marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, and other traffic-related offenses.

He was taken to the McCracken County Jail.
