Paducah Police looking for wanted Hopkinsville man

Paducah Police are in search of a wanted Hopkinsville man, after he fled from them on Thursday.

Police attempted to stop a vehicle driven by 27-year-old Lawrence Edwards, after drug unit detectives spotted him, but Edwards sped away.

There are warrants for Edwards, charging him with assault and parole violation. He is wanted in Christian County for allegedly shooting into a occupied vehicle back in March.

Edwards is on parole from an earlier conviction in Ballard County.
