Owensboro pair busted with drugs in Marshall County church parking lot

An Owensboro pair were arrested on drug charges in a Marshall County church parking lot early Sunday morning.

The Marshall County Sheriff's Office said deputies observed a vehicle pull into a church parking lot so deputies stopped to see why they were in the parking lot at that time of morning. 

Deputies allegedly found the driver, 41-year-old Bryan Spry, and his passenger, 33-year-old Cynthia Clements, in possession of illegal drugs.

Spry was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of a controlled, 
possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and prescription controlled substance not in proper container. 

Clements was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
