One reported dead in southeast Missouri storms

Severe storms late Friday night and early Saturday morning have claimed a life in southeast Missouri.

According to KFVS, Butler County EMA Director Robbie Myers said a shelter was being setup for storm victims at the Black River Coliseum in Poplar Bluff.

Meyers also stated that multiple homes had been damaged, confirmed the one death, and reported that first responders are still searching damaged areas.
