One injured in Murray accident

One person was injured in a two vehicle accident Friday in Murray.

Murray police say the mishap occured around 10:30 am at the intersection of North 12th Street and Olive Street.  

Investigators said a junvile driver indicated she was travelling north on 12th and stopped at the Olive Street intersection.

However she did not see the other vehicle operated by 52-year-old Theresa Owens of Hazel and struck it.  

At the time, the traffic light was flashing red and being treated as a four way stop.

An occupant of the juvenile's vehicle was treated at Murray Calloway County Hospital for possible injtiries.
