One dead in head-on collision on Blandville Road in McCracken County

A passenger died in a collision involving two vehicles in western McCracken County over the weekend.

The McCracken County Sheriff’s Office said they responded to the intersection of Blandville Road and McKendree Church Road on Sunday afternoon.

Deputies said 36-year-old Lee Turner of Paducah was driving with a passenger, 30-year-old Michelle Buhler and three young children.

Turner came up on slowed traffic and drove into the oncoming lane to avoid rear-ending a vehicle.

Turner's car collided with an oncoming pickup driven by 51-year-old Amy Krieger of Jackson, Missouri.

Deputies said Buhler was taken to an area hospital where she later died.

The other occupants were reportedly not injured.
