Oak Grove man jailed on drug and other charges

An Oak Grove man was arrested Thursday on drug related charges.

The Christian County Sheriff's Department said 34-year-old Evan M. Adams was taken into custody on a variety of charges including trafficking in cocaine and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

Detectives served a search warrant at his residence located in the 9000 block of Pembroke-Oak Grove Rd., Oak Grove, . 

During the search, several items were located including cocaine and other drugs, a stolen handgun out of Dickson, TN, and another handgun found in the bedroom.

Adams was lodged in the Christian County Jail.
