New lane restrictions on US 51 in Hickman County beginning Tuesday

New lane restrictions going into effect along US 51 in Hickman County beginning Tuesday. 

A Kentucky Transportation Cabinet contractor is planning initial survey work and some drilling ahead of a future project to rework part of US 51 through Clinton. The restrictions will be in place on US 51 between the Martin Road area and KY 703/Spring Street.

KYTC said there will be some one-lane traffic through the area along with some delays, especially as they move and reposition equipment. The work should be completed this week.
