Lyon County swore in a new judge-executive Monday after Wade White announced he was stepping aside before the end of his term.

Jaime Green was officially sworn in to finish out White's term by 56th Circuit Court Judge Jamus Redd.

Green served on the Eddyville Police Department for 21 years, including as police chief on January 6, 2020.

Former Judge-Executive White announced in 2021 that he wouldn't seek re-election after he was appointed to the Tennessee Valley Authority’s Board of Directors. He said last week that he would leave office early to begin his term with TVA.
