A Murray man was arrested Saturday night on drug and weapons charges.
The Calloway County Sheriff's Office said around 11 pm they responded to a call of a suspicious person on Wilkerson Drive. When they arrived, they found an unoccipied vehicle. Shortly thereafter, two males associated with the vehicle were located.
Firearms were found inside the vehicle. 59-year-old Jeff S. Richardson of Murray was identified as a convicted felon and was subsequently arrested. He was charged with possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Richardson is also out on bond after a Grand Jury Indictment in March 2025 for drug trafficking related charges. He was lodged at the Calloway County Detention Facility.
