A Murray man was arrested for wanton endangerment after firing a shotgun at a man who had pulled over near his house.

The Calloway County Sheriff's Office said they were called at 2:30 pm on Monday by a man who had pulled over in a parking lot next to some grain bins and a vacant house on Murray Paris road to call his wife. The caller said a man who lived across the street, later identified as 70-year-old Joseph Scott, came out of his home with a shotgun and fired a round at the caller's vehicle with what appeared to be bird shot.

Scott was arrested and charged with wanton endangerment and criminal mischief.
