Murray man arrested after motorcycle crash near Benton

A Murray man was arrested on a DUI charge after a motorcycle crash on Saturday.

Marshall County Sheriff's deputies were called to the scene of a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on Benton Birmingham Road. The driver, 36-year-old Brandon Powell of Murray, was riding his motorcycle when he reportedly ran off the road. The report made no mention of any injuries.

Deputies arrested Powell and charged him with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and for not having insurance.
