Murray Independent schools now mask optional

Staff, students, and visitors to Murray Independent Schools facilities will have the option to wear masks, beginning Friday.

While the district encourages the use of masks, they are not required, except on school buses and other district vehicles. 

Officials said those eligible should get the COVID-19 vaccine.

Murray Independent Schools will continue to watch the data, and seek guidance from health officials.
