UPDATE:
US 60 in western McCracken County is now open following a multi-vehicle crash that involved a gasoline tanker truck, which sent one to a hospital.
The McCracken County Sheriff's Office reports the roadway was reopened after being closed for eight hours.
Their investigation found that a westbound vehicle driven by Corbin White of Murray collided with an eastbound gasoline tanker truck driven by Kevin Gould of Missouri.
White's vehicle then struck a vehicle that was behind the tanker truck, driven by Charles Althoff of Illinois.
As a result of the crash, all three vehicles came to rest off the shoulder of the roadway on a grass embankment.
Gasoline was seen leaking from the tanker truck and West McCracken Fire was able to stop the leak by patching the tank.
The driver of the tanker truck, Kevin Gould, was taken to a local hospital for treatment of injuries.
The Environmental Protection Agency responded to the scene and was able to clean the area without incident.
