A wanted Tennessee man and Paducah woman that led McCracken County deputies on a pursuit was arrested Tuesday on numerous charges.
Deputies learned early Tuesday morning that 31-year-old Cody Wayne Johnson might be in Lone Oak.
Johnson was considered armed and dangerous, and was wanted on numerous felony warrants.
The sheriff's office said Johnson was seen in Lone Oak at about 4 a.m. before leading deputies on a high-speed pursuit.
Johnson's vehicle eventually became stuck in a creek bed near Contest Road. The driver, 36-year-old Andrea Leftridge of Paducah, and Johnson then reportedly fled on foot.
Authorities said the pair were able to steal a vehicle before the deployment of "stop sticks" and a collision, leaving the pair fleeing on foot once again.
They were both found following a search on New Hope Road, where Leftridge surrendered and Johnson continued fleeing until K9 Oscar stopped him.
They were both charged with fleeing or evading, theft by unlawful taking, and criminal mischief.
Leftridge was additionally charged with wanton endangerment, while Johnson was charged with resisting arrest and served with seven warrants.
