Several shoplifting suspects sought in Princeton

Princeton police have requested the public's help identifying several people accused of shoplifting.

Officers said the pair pushed a cart full of merchandise, valued at about $700, out of a store last Wednesday.

They left in a Pontiac and could be from the Madisonville or Hopkins County area.

In a seperate case on Sunday authorities said a man pushed a cart full of unpaid merchandise out of a store on Sunday, with items including a weed trimmer, blower, battery, and tent. The items were reportedly valued at just under $500.

The police department said the pair left in a white Ford SUV-type vehicle.
