Missouri man arrested on sex offender charges

A Misosuri man was arrested Wednesday morning on charges of failing to register as a sex offender.

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office said 54 year old Ronald Sulik of Dow Run was located at a residence on County Line Road.

In April, McCracken County deputies conducted a welfare check on Sulik, who had been reportedly staying in his car.  

During that investigation, Sulik was told if he intended to stay in Kentucky, he needed to register on the sex offencer list.  He said he planned to return to Missouri.

Sulik was spotted in the same area in the following days with an investigation opened.  

It was learned Sulik had not registered in Kentucky nor did he return to Missouri.

Sulik was lodged in the McCracken County Regional Jail.
