Two suffer minor injuries in Lyon County crash

Two people suffered minor injuries in a crash on Tuesday in Suwanee.

The crash happened just before 2 p.m. at US 62 and KY 810. Lyon County Sheriff’s deputies said that an SUV driven by 78-year-old Danny Johnson of Kuttawa had slowed to turn off 62 onto KY 810. Johnson’s SUV turned into the path of a car driven by 45-year-old Robin Palmer of Eddyville, and they collided.

Deputies said that Johnson and Palmer both declined to be taken to the hospital by ambulance, but both reportedly went on their own to be checked out.
