Friday's crash is third recently at Old Mayfield and Krebs Station Roads

A midday crash on Friday was the third recently at Old Mayfield and Krebs Station Roads.

Two vehicles were involved in the collision that happened just before 12:20 p.m. on Friday. McCracken County Sheriff’s deputies said that a car driven by 18-year-old Claire Tyra was traveling along Krebs Station and is believed to have not stopped at the stop sign at Old Mayfield. Her car crashed into a pickup driven by 57-year-old Thomas Coreau.

Coreau was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

It took about an hour to reopen the roadway.
