A Metropolis woman was arrested after police were called to a disturbance on Ferry Street.

Police went to the home on Ferry and located 36-year-old Amber M. Gilbert. Gilbert had already been trespassed from the property, and police were aware of that. Officers also knew Gilbert had outstanding warrants for meth possession and criminal trespass. During a search, they also uncovered what was described as 26 rounds of ammunition. Gilbert is not allowed to possess the ammunition because of a previous felony conviction.

Gilbert was charged with unlawful possession of ammunition by a convicted felon along with criminal trespass to property. She was taken to the Massac County Detention Center.
