A noise complaint Friday ended with new charges for a wanted Karnak man.

Metropolis Police were called to the Massac Village Apartments about a man that reportedly seemed intoxicated and was walking around the parking lot being very loud. The caller also said the male was hanging around and looking into vehicles.

When officers arrived they found 37-year-old Jerry A. Thoe walking on Metropolis Street. Police said a computer check showed Thoe was wanted on warrants issued by Massac County for FTA- possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Thoe was allegedly found to be holding a glass pipe with meth residue on his hand. Thoe was charged with the warrants as well as possession of drug paraphernalia and issued a notice to appear.
