Metropolis couple charged with theft of Paducah ATV, trailer

A man and woman from Metropolis were arrested after Paducah police recovered a stolen ATV and trailer.

On Tuesday, Paducah Police responded to a report of the theft. An officer used a camera from a nearby business to identify the suspected vehicle, and it was located using the Flock camera system the next day on North 8th Street. Meth was also found in the vehicle.

Police located the stolen ATV and trailer at the IIllinois residence of 43-year old William C. Starks and 41-year old Jennifer M. Bagby.

Starks admitted to stealing the ATV and trailer. He was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance and theft by unlawful taking.

Bagby was charged with possession of a controlled substance.

Starks and Bagby were taken to the McCracken County Jail. The property was returned to the owners.
