A ten-day drug investigation by the McCracken County Sheriff's Office led to six arrests.

McCracken County Deputies said they made the first of six arrests on July 1 at a residence on Jason Drive in the Kevil area of McCracken County. Deputies said they were assisted in the search by the Ballard County Sheriff's Office, where they located and seized methamphetamine and Xanax. As a result, 33-year-old Sarah Weaver was arrested for trafficking in meth and a warrant was issued for 48-year-old Billy Arnold.

On July 6, deputies said they arrested 42-year-old Ian Hunter in the Lone Oak area for trafficking in meth and possession of marijuana. They began their investigation into Hunter in June when detectives said they made numerous methamphetamine purchases from Hunter.

Deputies and detectives said on Friday that they used a confidential informant to schedule a drug deal with 40-year-old David Novetske to buy meth and marijuana. They said they located Novetske in a vehicle driven by 45-year-old Toby Wren on Cook Street, where both men were arrested for trafficking in marijuana. At the same time, Novetske was also charged with outstanding warrants and trafficking in methamphetamine. In addition, 54-year-old Elizabeth Tabor was arrested on outstanding warrants in McCracken and Crittenden Counties at the residence where Novetske and Wren were arrested, according to deputies.

Deputies said they made the final arrest of the investigation Friday during a traffic stop where Arnold was arrested for trafficking in methamphetamine and possession of Xanax.
