A man and woman who had active arrest warrants in Paducah are facing multiple charges after a Flock safety camera caught them last week.

On February 19, detectives with the McCracken County Sheriff’s Office located a dog that needed immediate medical assistance.

Detectives determined the dog had been left alone for weeks without shelter, food or water. They also discovered cocaine and firearms.

A search warrant was executed at the residence of 41-year-old Brandon Burnham and 38-year-old Amber Burnham. Neither were at the residence during the search.

On Feb. 25, Paducah Police were alerted by a Flock Safety Camera of a vehicle traveling on Strathmoor Boulevard whose owner was wanted on an active arrest warrant.

The vehicle belonged to Brandon Burnham. Amber Burnham and a 3-year-old child were also in the vehicle.

The officer saw open alcoholic containers, firearm accessories and cocaine in the vehicle.

After a search warrant was conducted at the Burnhams’ residence, officers found psychedelic mushrooms.

The child was taken to Child Protective Services. Brandon and Amber Burnham were arrested and taken to the McCracken County Jail.

Charges for both included possession of a controlled substance and endangering the welfare of a minor. Charges on earlier McCracken warrants included wanton endangerment and torture of a dog or cat.

Brandon Burnham was also charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
