Dr. John Cecil to Join Dallas Medical in February

Dr. John T. Cecil, F.A.A.P. of Paducah's RediCare, will be joining Dallas Medical Family Practice and Walk-In Clinic in early 2012. He plans to begin seeing patients at the current location in mid-February 2012.

Erika Dallas, M.D., owner of Dallas Medical, stated, “Dr. Cecil brings more than three decades of experience and an impeccable reputation. He and I share many of the same thoughts on how patient care is to be delivered by providing quality, patient-friendly healthcare that stresses convenience for our patients. At a time when we are expanding and moving into a new facility, his name lends a lot of credibility.”

Dr. Cecil joined RediCare, an urgent care and immediate care center, 15 years ago. He is a graduate of the University of Louisville School of Medicine and is board certified in Pediatrics. Dr. Cecil commented on joining Dallas Medical, “I look forward to welcoming new patients as well as continuing to care for patients that have been with me for a long time. The location is very convenient and we are excited to be moving into a state-of-the-art new building with plenty of space to accommodate our patients and provide on-site services.”

Dallas Medical will also welcome Phillip Kiser, M.D. He has been providing part-time coverage since early 2011 and will become full-time in mid-January. Dr. Kiser currently practices medicine in Mayfield. He is board certified in Family Medicine. Patients may call 270-444-9934 now to schedule an appointment with Dr. Kiser beginning Jan. 20, 2012.

Dallas Medical announced last month it is constructing a new building across from the existing office on Village Square Drive. The 22,000 square foot building will include the medical clinic with on-site x-ray services, a medical laboratory, Strawberry Hills Pharmacy, a community conference room, and clinic space for specialty physicians from outside the area. The building is scheduled to be completed in late summer 2012.

Dallas Medical currently provides convenient medical care to patients by utilizing policies such as call ahead and off site waiting. It is located at 4645 Village Square Drive, in Paducah, KY, behind Home Depot. Clinic hours are 7:30 am until 7:30 pm, Monday through Friday, 9 am until 7:30 pm on Saturday, and 1 pm until 7:30 pm on Sunday. Dallas Medical accepts most insurance as well as self pay patients.
