A fugitive from McCracken County was arrested in southeast Missouri on Monday.
The Poplar Bluff Police Department said they learned 38-year-old Jamal Nance was in their area and went to a home on Victor Street.
Nance is a fugitive wanted on felony charges in McCracken County.
Police said Nance at first falsely identified himself. then refused to leave the home and briefly barricaded himself inside. After a short time, Nance surrendered and was taken into custody.
At the home, police said they found suspected methamphetamine.
Nance's combined charges in Poplar Bluff and McCracken County include burglary, robbery, unlawful imprisonment, wanton endangerment, trafficking in a controlled substance and possession of a firearm by a felon.
