Mayfield woman racks up handful of charges after disturbance

A Mayfield woman previously arrested in Paducah on a handful of charges is now facing new charges in Mayfield.

Mayfield police said they were contacted about a woman causing a disturbance.

The incident led to charges of harassment, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and assault of a police officer for 30-year-old Nikala Mize.

Mize was previously arrested on April 9 after reports of a woman knocking on doors off Cairo Road.

In that incident, Mize was allegedly found to be under the influence and charged with public intoxication, resisting arrest, and possession of methamphetamine.
