Mayfield woman injured after Monday morning crash

A two-vehicle collision in Graves County Monday morning sent a Mayfield woman to the hospital.

Deputies said 54-year-old Penny Hamrick of Wingo was trying to make a right turn onto East Powell Road from US 45, when she was rear-ended by 35-year-old Kristin Rushing.

Rushing's vehicle overturned numerous times from the impact.

Rushing was taken to Jackson Purchase Medical Center for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
