Mayfield teen hospitalized after I-69 crash

A Mayfield teen was sent to a Paducah hospital after a single-vehicle crash on I-69 Tuesday.

The crash occurred near the 26-mile marker around 11 a.m. Deputies said the only person in the vehicle was 18-year-old Taytum Holland of Mayfield. Holland was checked at the scene by Mayfield-Graves County EMS before being sent to a Paducah hospital.

Deputies said that Holland apparently ran off into the median and hit a bridge pillar. They said they believe his vehicle became airborne, rolling over into a ditch on the northbound lanes.
