A man wanted on charges in Marshall and Livingston counties was arrested during a traffic stop in Graves County on Tuesday.
Graves County Sheriff Jon Hayden said surveillance was conducted in the Symsonia area, and a tip led to the arrest of 46-year-old Jason C. Henson of Benton.
The Livingston County Sheriff’s Office said they were contacted by a female on Monday who reported that she was being stalked by Henson. This was in violation of an emergency protective order that he have no contact or communication with the victim.
Sheriff Hayden located Henson travelling on KY 348 and stopped the vehicle near the KY 1949 intersection at around 3 p.m. He was placed under arrest after having to be forcibly removed from the vehicle, after repeated noncompliance.
Henson was found to have crystal methamphetamine on his person and his Kentucky operators license was also suspended. He was charged with 3rd or subsequent offense of possession of meth and driving on a suspended operators license.
Henson has two prior convictions for meth possession along with three prior convictions for violating emergency protective orders, in addition to menacing and assault.
He was transported to an out-of-county detention center.
