A man wanted for parole and sex offender violations in Graves County, that has fled deputies multiple times, was arrested Sunday afternoon.

Thirty-six-year-old Cameron J. Evans was on parole for rape, stalking, and other convictions. In addition, he was in violation of sex offender regulations.

Officials said tips led them to believe he was living in a tent in the Byrd Road area.

Evans was taken into custody just after 6 P.M. after fleeing from authorities a couple of times over the last several days.

He is set to be taken to an out-of-county jail.
