A man on an epic bicycle ride in support of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation will pass through Paducah on Tuesday.

Sixty-four-year-old Al Reszel left Key West, Florida 24 days ago to begin his 3,500-mile-ride in support of the BCRF and his wife Terry. Reszel has now traveled over 1,900 miles of his journey.

The journey, called "Pink Pedals for a Cure/Terry's Ride," will take him about 42 days, in which he will travel through 11 states before eventually arriving in Albany, Minnesota the weekend of May 13.

This isn't Reszel's first bike ride. Over the last six years he has traveled over 18,000 miles -- the equivalent of of riding his bicycle around the world -- to help find a cure.

You can learn more about Reszel, including his current ride status and his wife's story of survival, by clicking here.
