Lyon County Sheriff investigating ATV theft from Friday

The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after a pair of ATVs were stolen in southern Lyon County on Friday.

The thefts occurred at about 5:30 a.m. Friday from a home on Birdie Bannister Road off KY 274. The owners told deputies that there were at least three people involved in the theft. The ATVs were ridden off the property, headed north.  They were recovered by the Caldwell County Sheriff’s Office off Otter Pond Road in Caldwell County on Sunday afternoon. The ATVs had been left in a field.
