A weekend pursuit in McCracken County landed a Lone Oak man behind bars.
Deputies said they noticed a vehicle speeding on old US Highway 45 Saturday and attempted a stop, but the driver, 46-year-old Johnny Day, fled.
The pursuit continued on several roads in southern McCracken County and into Graves County before his vehicle cought fire.
Day was charged with fleeing or evading, criminal mischief, and traffic-related offenses.
The sheriff's office said Day has a prior arrest for DUI and possession of methamphetamine.
He was taken to the McCracken County Jail.
