A big methamphetamine bust in Murray sent a Paris, Tennessee man to jail on Wednesday.
Deputies from Calloway County and Marshall County arrested 29-year-old Trey D. Cowans at a business in Murray following a months-long investigation. Cowans was described as a "large-scale methamphetamine dealer." He allegedly intended to distribute over 26 pounds of crystal meth throughout the area. When he was arrested he was reportedly in possession of that amount of meth. Kentucky State Police and the DEA assisted in the investigation and the bust.
Cowans was charged with trafficking in crystal methamphetamine.
