During Tuesday night's Paducah Board of Commissioners meeting, an employment agreement was approved with Audra Kyle to become the city's finance director.
Kyle has been serving as Interim Finance Director since the retirement of previous director, Jonathan Perkins, in July 2025. After a nationwide search and an interview process, the City Manager’s office and the Board determined that the best candidate to serve Paducah was Kyle.
Kyle has more than 22 years of experience in governmental finance and has served the City since 2006. She was appointed Controller in 2008 and served in that role until becoming Interim Finance Director this year.
Kyle begins her new role Friday.
