Kentucky Avenue blocked by overturned utility truck

A utility truck crash on Kentucky Avenue blocked traffic near downtown Paducah.

The crash occurred just before 10 a.m. on Kentucky at 9th Street near Ownes Cleaners. The Paducah Power System bucket truck overturned in the middle of the road and blocked traffic in both directions. 

Police and fire department units responded to the scene, but there has been no word on injuries.

Paducah Police have said that reportedly due to the crash, some phone and internet connections are down at Police Headquarters, the McCracken County Courthouse, and other locations around the city.
