Graves County road restricted after grain truck loses load of corn

KY 303 in Graves County was temporarily closed Thursday morning after a grain truck went off the road and spilled a large load of corn.

The accident occurred around 10 a.m. near the intersection of Tucker Road, just south of Mayfield. 

According to the Sheriff’s office, the driver said his right front tire blew out and the truck went into the ditch. 

KY 303 was shut restricted until around 2 p.m. while a grain vacuum was used to recover the corn from the ditch.
