Hopkinsville man found dead in Trigg County

Kentucky State Police are investigating a death in Trigg County related to a Hopkinsville man who died Thursday.

Troopers said they received a call from Trigg County dispatch after 1:30 a.m. on Thursday requesting assistance investigating a death.

Troopers and detectives responded to South Road in Cadiz, where they located 23-year-old Kevin Croft of Hopkinsville, who was pronounced dead by the Trigg County Corner.

They said preliminary autopsy results revealed no signs of fatal trauma and that the death is still under investigation. Anyone who had contact with Croft within the last 24 hours is asked to contact State Police.
