Juvenile calls Marshall authorities after man breaks into her home

A juvenile called authorities in Marshall County after a man broke into her home.

The girl called 911 after the man, later identified as 29-year-old Lozie D Boddie III, got inside her Minter Road home on Monday. Marshall County Sheriff’s deputies and Benton Police officers arrived quickly before Boddie could escape. He was found in the basement of the home and was arrested. Boddie was charged with felony burglary and booked into the Marshall County Detention Center.

Sheriff Matt Hilbrecht commended the bravery of the girl, who was home alone when Boddie broke in. He also noted the quick work by deputies and officers from Benton that led to the rapid arrest.
