A 14-year-old male from Fulton has been arrested for his involvement in Friday's shooting incident at the Battle of the Birds football game.
Mayfield police said the juvenile is being charged with assault 1st degree after he shot 18-year-old Jordan Riley from Farmington.
Riley suffered a serious gunshot wound to his arm and upper torso, and was airlifted to an out-of-state hospital. He is currently in stable condition.
Police said the shooting took place after a physical altercation between the victim and another juvenile, during which the suspect discharged his weapon. The shooting happened in a parking area adjacent to the War Memorial football stadium.
Authorities are still urging witnesses to the incident or anyone with information to contact the Mayfield Police Department.
