A joint drug investigation by the McCracken and Livingston County Sheriff's Offices, and the Paducah Police Department, resulted in a methamphetamine trafficking arrest of a Lyon County woman Friday evening.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Office, detectives received information that 45-year-old Ashley Wooldridge was selling methamphetamine. They arranged to contact her by phone, and she allegedly agreed to sell methamphetamine to them, and directed them to an address on Trail Loop Drive in Paducah.

Two undercover detectives contacted Wooldridge in the parking lot of an apartment complex, and arrested her at approximately 5:42 pm, after a search of her person revealed approximately nine grams of suspected methamphetamine.

Wooldridge was taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail, charged with methamphetamine trafficking.
