Inmate walks away from work detail in Hopkinsville

Authorities are looking for an escaped inmate who walked away from work detail on Saturday afternoon.

The Kentucky State Police Post 2 said 52-year-old Kevin Johnson of Madisonville walked away from a work detail at the Convention Center in Hopkinsville.

Johnson is described as a white male, 6'2" tall, weighing 250 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. He was described as wearing khaki pants and a black shirt.
