Identity of homeowner who shot Trigg County intruder released

Authorities have released the name of the homeowner involved in a fatal shooting July 19th in Trigg County.

Kentucky State Police said they found 25-year-old Austin Gardner, who was armed with a weapon, had forced his way into a room at a Linda Lane home before being shot and killed by the homeowner, 21-year-old Cody Parker.

No charges have been filed and the investigation is continuing.
