A three-month old infant from Missouri who was considered missing was found safe on Sunday in western Kentucky, and the child's mother was arrested.
The Kentucky State Police said that on Sunday morning they received information from police in Cape Girardeau about a missing infant. They were told the baby was reported to be at a home in Graves County.
The child had reportedly been ordered into the custody of the Missouri Department of Social Services, however, the biological mother was believed to be with the child and left the state of Missouri.
Within the hour after receiving the information, troopers found the infant, along with its mother at a home in Hickory.
The mother was identified as 29-year-old Taylor Roldan of Cape Girardeau. KSP said Roldan was a fugitive and had a warrant issued for her arrest in Missouri for parental kidnapping.
Roldan was taken to the Calloway County Jail and is awaiting extradition to Missouri.
