Two shootings in Mounds, Illinois last week sent three people to the hospital.
The first happened on Friday afternoon in the 100 Block of McKinley Street, where a 17-year-old man was shot and taken to an area hospital.
The second took place early Saturday, where a 52-year-old and 26-year-old were shot and taken to an area hospital for treatment.
Illinois State Police said their assistance was requested by the Mounds Police Department after the second shooting.
