I-24 Ohio River Bridge lane restrictions continue next week

The Illinois Department of Transportation is planning to continue work zone lane restrictions on the Interstate 24 Ohio River Bridge, between Metropolis to Paducah, next week for bridge inspections.

According to IDOT, lane restrictions are expected on eastbound I-24 on Monday and Tuesday, and westbound I-24 on Wednesday and Thursday, weather permitting.

Motorists should be alert for slowing and merging traffic as they approach the I-24 Bridge.
