Hit-and-run injures Murray woman

A hit-and-run crash on Friday sent a Murray won to the hospital.

Calloway County Sheriff's deputies were called to the crash on Highway 94 and found the vehicle of Maysoon Khatib overturned off the side of the road. A short time later, Jessica Wright of Dexter went to the Murray Police Department to report being in an accident.

Investigators determined that Wright was attempting to pass Khatib, and sideswiped her vehicle causing the crash. 

Wright was cited for leaving the scene of an injury collision. 

Khatib was taken to the Murray-Calloway County Hospital for treatment.
