More details have emerged from the armed robbery and pursuit that took place in Graves County on Friday.

The Graves County Sheriff’s Office and Kentucky State Police, both received a report just after 11 am of the armed robbery.

Glasgow Police, assisting Mayfield Police, pursued the suspect's vehicle on US 45 with reported shots fired at the officers. Officers soon lost sight of the suspects and ended the pursuit.

KSP troopers spotted the vehicle and began a second pursuit. Again shots were fired at police officers, however this time a trooper fired back. One of the suspects in the vehicle was hit, and the pursuit ended near the Graves-McCracken county line. No law enforcement officers were injured.

One man was transported to Baptist Hospital in Paducah where he was treated and released, and taken to the McCracken County Jail. A second person was also arrested and taken to the McCracken County Jail.

The Kentucky State Police Critical Incident Response Team is investigating the shooting.
